Located in the heart of Columbia, the Harriet Hancock LGBT Center was the first LGBT resource center in South Carolina.
The Harriet Hancock LGBT Center offers a variety of resources including a free lending library, meeting spaces for LGBT-supportive groups, and a directory of LGBT-affirming providers, allied businesses and organizations. Our resources are free and available to everyone during operating hours.

The Harriet Hancock Center Foundation is organized as a nonprofit corporation and has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal Tax ID# 57-0836466).
